I have always lived in the world of numbers. My very first job was at a check cashing place — yes, really — and something about it just clicked. After earning my Business Administration degree I went into data entry at an auto parts warehouse and worked my way up to buyer. Numbers, systems, people — it was always the same thread running through everything I did.

Bookkeeping found me when a friend introduced me to it and I realized I didn't just like it — I loved it. Taxes and notarial work were already part of my world from my New York days, and my notary commission has never lapsed. Oh, and somewhere in between all of that I also became a licensed cosmetologist. Because why not. 💇🏽‍♀️

At home I'm a proud mom to a daughter in college, a "cat grandma" to 2 grand-kitties, and still very much outnumbered by my 2 furry boys at home. Fun? Y con qué se come? — I'm still figuring that one out. 😄

BR Financial Group started as a way to bring in extra income. But the more I worked, the more I saw something that I couldn't unsee — the Hispanic community was missing out. Not because they didn't deserve access, but because of language barriers, immigration concerns, or simply not having someone in their corner who understood. I wanted to be that bridge. Whether that means making a phone call, helping fill out a document, or just sitting down and explaining things without judgment — I want to be their neighbor.

And that goes for everyone I work with. I want you to feel accepted. I want you to know you don't have to hide, pretend, or have it all figured out before you call me. You don't have to have walked my exact path for me to understand yours. I've done a lot of work on myself to get here — and all of that work just means I can extend my hand a little further.
